I've seen in Discord that this happens to others, but can confirm this is the second time it's happened to me within four games. Queuing for social match, and after finding a match, it tries to load me in but sometimes this happens. I have to open task manager and hard close GoL as there is no way to escape out of this screen, nor is there anything I can press to close it.
For all of you who havenĀ“t seen the discord announcement yet. If games dont start after finding a match it is your or your opponents fireawall settings. Please add/allow the GoL.exe to/in your private network. If you don't know how please contact us.
America. Minnesota to be specific. Solid internet connection; I never drop from other games (though I'm sure other people say the same thing). 200 d/l speed and 20 u/l speed. Wired connection.
where are you currently playing from?
Thanks for reporting. We are aware of this issue. We think it happens when players dont connect, due to connection issues. Either by one of the players or by the current server location.
