- GuidesHello community! I decided to write a fun and informative article about tier lists. I ranked all heroes & guardians, masters, pioneers, warriors, and items in different tiers. I also compiled my rankings into race-specific tier lists. For all tier lists I used Erbol’s templates on Tiermaker. I recommend checking them out as they are a lot of fun. What went into my ranking of a card? The stats (attack, defense, movement, range), the ability and troop strength, potential to use fellowships and items, the utility and role the card can fulfill and the overall power level. I tried to show differences in power by ranking cards differently, and similarities in power by ranking cards in the same tier. Please remember that all rankings are based on my subjective opinion. These will reflect my inexperience and lack of understanding regarding cards, their usage, their potential, and playstyles. Without further ado, here are the tier lists. If you have difficulty with the names, I shared a Glimpse of Luna Card Overview that entails all the information and names. Staple tier: Alnarasz has high attack, 3 movement and an ability that lets him deal massive damage. He can punish mistakes in positioning and offers great board control. Nuka has high attack, 3 movement and an ability that makes her a powerhouse in the late game. Together with other 3 movement cards she can take out so many enemy units, they have almost none left and can’t defend themselves. She offers great board control. Erik has high attack, high defense and an ability that lets him deal massive damage. Combining high attack and defense makes him the strongest hero for the Nordur. Rezu has low attack, but very high defense and an ability that makes her almost unkillable in the late game. she can safely push into enemy flanks and protects units behind her. All guardians in the staple tier have high defense that makes them hard to kill. Qessa buffs the attack of all troops, making your already strong troop cards even stronger and massively improves troop-heavy lists. She buffs 8 cards on average, most notably Agatha, Srasnis, Aspos and Xula. Peewa buffs the attack of all your marksmen. She buffs 12 cards on average, most notably Kele, Lapu and Litaha. Helga buffs the attack of all female cards and gives access to Runa as a good 3 movement card. She buffs 7 cards on average, most notably Ygridd, Runa, Frallga, Liv and Fyora. Fabyor buffs the attack of all 1 movement cards. He buffs 10 cards on average, most notably Martin, Lorik, Jochen and Elmar. Arsok buffs the defense of all 1 movement cards and makes them harder to kill, and drastically improves the various 1 movement units. In tournament lists he buffs 6 cards on average, most notably Drakan, Drax and Sisash. All these units have a lot of strong points, barely or no weak points and are the best at what they do. Strong tier: Otis has high attack, high defense and an ability that gives you value the more trades you do. After many trades the less reinforcements will be felt strongly. Riuk has medium attack, high defense and an ability that makes him harder to kill in the late game. He has a higher attack for a tank hero and can do strong pushes together with your masters. Tapeesa is very similar to Rezu but has slightly less defense. In return, she offers protection to units standing behind her and has 2 range. Vralak has high attack, high defense and an ability that gives value the more trades you do. He is very strong against heroes that have less defense than attack because it makes them very weak to 3 movement units. Dralnar has high attack, high defense and an ability that gives value the more trades you do. He is strong against heroes that have less attack than defense and can lower their attack to an insignificant amount. Vralak and Dralnar both have 2 range, meaning they can attack without endangering themselves. Akurus has high defense and low attack, but the low attack is less significant due to his paralyze ability. 2 range also lets him paralyze units that are further away without endangering himself. He has some of the weakest stats for a hero but one of the strongest abilities. Panu buffs the defense of all hermeticists and massively improves hermeticist-heavy lists. He buffs 13 cards on average, most notably Maska, Noya and Eeb. He has high attack and 2 range but has very low defense and is vulnerable to 3 movement units. Khanta is similar to Qessa, but instead of a buff for your units she gives a debuff to enemy units. Arachnids have the lowest amount of 3 movement units and Khanta can even out the playing field so that Arachnids’ strong 2 movement units outshine the enemy. Ruutik has the strongest time-pressure ability that really puts the opponent under pressure. He has high defense and is hard to kill. In lists with few 1 movement units, Ruutik is a strong contender over Arsok because you only give up on buffing 6 cards on average. All these units have a lot of strong points, but a few weak points and are overall strong. Okay tier: Asaki has the highest attack of any hero but also the lowest defense. His dash ability makes him mobile and able to avoid dying to 3 movement units. But your opponent can zone him out and make him sit on the backline. Kratos has high attack and defense and a nice AoE ability, making him the strongest ranged guardian that doesn’t give any buffs, but the alternatives are stronger. Radiana is like Kratos, but her ability only rarely matters. The alternatives are stronger. Yasash has a high attack but the lowest defense of any guardian, making him vulnerable to 3 movement units. But he not only offers ranged support, but he also gives protection to the units in front of him. All these units have strong points, weak points and are overall okay. Niche tier: Lisana has high attack, but very low defense and vulnerable to 3 movement units. Unlike other low defense heroes, she does not have 2 range and no ability like Asaki’s dash to attack without endangering herself. Tulok is similar to Ruutik but taking time away from your opponent is a lot stronger than adding time to yourself. Other guardians are stronger than Tulok, but he turns Mojag into a 6/5/3/1 unit, very similar to Night or Lasthos. Both Lisana and Tulok are very niche units. Staple tier: Night has high attack, low defense, 3 movement and his ability can threaten masters with 7 or more defense also. Kele has 3 movement and high attack that can reach up to 10 together with Peewa and the Cosmic Whetstone equipment, which is the highest of any 3 movement master. She also has 2 range and offers ranged support. However, she has only 3 defense which makes her weak to other 3 movement units. This is no problem however, as Tagari have access to many 3 movement units which you can trade for theirs. Lasthos has medium attack, medium defense, and a strong time pressure ability. With the Haikkul equipment you can buff his attack up to 9 which is a big threat to many units and lets you win on time by killing a big troop. Kalon has high attack, medium defense and an ability that lets him kill units and return to safety. He puts a lot of pressure and is also a strong unit to defend with. June is an overall strong unit, having high attack and defense and 2 range, making him able to fulfill many roles on the battlefield. Kaliik has high attack but low defense, making him rely on equipments to buff his defense. His ability gives him more defense the more units he kills, so if the enemy can’t remove him, he will become the highest statted 2 movement master on the board. Juuk has high attack, high defense and an ability that is difficult to play around. He is perfectly suited for Luukus because not only will be become a 9 attack 3 movement unit, but the high movement also lets you place him on a hex where the enemy can’t avoid triggering his ability. Martin has high attack, high defense and one of the strongest abilities of any master. You can equip him with the Grey Bear Armor and the Shoes of the Shieldbrothers, turning him into one of the strongest units on the board. Any unit that does not have a lot of defense or can attack him from range will die to his ability. Strong tier: Thea has high attack, medium defense and an ability that turns her into a very threatening master. She benefits from Helga and if you give her the Shoes of the Shieldbrothers equipment, has the highest attack of any 3 movement master. Yvar is an overall strong unit, having high attack and defense and an ability that can buff your melee cards. He also benefits from the Shoes of the Shieldbrothers, turning him into a 9 attack 3 movement master, and is one of the strongest units you can pick in your starting 5. The attack of adjacent melee units gets buffed when your opponent trades him off. Rudolf has high attack, low defense and can be equipped with the Bow of Portheim, turning him into a threatening 3 range master. His ability is the same as Otis’ and makes your enemy think twice about trading units within his range. Drakan has high defense, 3 range and an ability that lets you weaken units around the one he attacked. Together with Fin you can push back enemy ranged units and his high defense makes him hard to kill. He benefits from Arsok and is hard to kill with 8 defense. Vemaephir is an overall strong unit, having high attack, high defense and an ability that lets you safely push into range of ranged units. She also makes Alnarasz stronger. Kapu has medium attack, high defense, and a very strong resilience ability. He can safely push into any marksman unit and can’t be damaged by them. This is particularly relevant against marksmen with the master of styles ability like June. Palaria has high attack, high defense and a very strong ability that is difficult to play around. She can safely position herself and massively weaken your opponent’s units or force many to retreat out of danger of her ability. Frusia has high attack, high defense and an ability that protects units beside her. She lets you safely push against enemy 3 range units. Mahno has medium attack, high defense, and a very strong ability. With up to 11 defense, he is very hard to kill and means your opponent’s units can’t escape his alteration ability, forcing them to slowly retreat or attack Mahno. You can even catch a hero this way and prevent them from escaping to safety. Okay tier: Volgar has high attack, high defense, and a strong ability, making him immune against any hermeticists. However, he requires the Orca Stone equipment to have a similar number of stats as other 2 movement masters. He really shines against hermeticist-heavy decks. Lasthella has high attack and high defense, and like Volgar requires the Ataxia Eggs equipment to have a similar number of stats as other 2 movement masters. Her strong points are that she gives Lasthos +1 attack and has one of the strongest time pressure abilities. If she kills a troop of even 2 units, she takes away 60 seconds from your opponent. Wapok has high attack and medium defense, making him require the Dado’s Armor equipment to give him 8 defense, which is relatively safe. His ability is very strong if you set it up properly, letting him deal up to 14 damage single-handedly. He also benefits twice as much from attack buffs from equipments or Latika. He is strong against high defense heroes like Rezu. Micco is similar to June; he is weaker in the early game but a lot stronger in the lategame. With the Palahu’s Shrine equipment and Panu he can become master with 9 attack and 9 defense that can fulfill many different roles on the battlefield. Zivishra has high attack, high defense and is the only ranged master for the Arachnids. Her ability gives her more attack the more she kills. She offers both high ranged support and high defense in one. She can be equipped with World Divider and Bio Armor equipments, turning her into 10+ attack and 8 defense master. Blancara has high attack, high defense and the same alteration ability as Mahno. However, her 1 range means she affects fewer units and will be closer to them, oftentimes endangering herself. However, if set up properly, you can make also trap enemy units from retreating and force them to stay and fight, or you can catch a lone hero until your other forces arrive. Brix has low attack, high defense and an ability that protects units standing behind him. He also has 2 range and can attack from a safe distance. Out of all protector abilities, protecting the hexes behind is the weakest, and given that Fin already protects the hexes in front he might seem redundant. However, if you equip him with Rothadyn’s Tooth and run his fellowship, he becomes a 6 attack 9 defense master, a bit like Frusia but with 2 range. Staple tier: Thera has 5 defense, 3 movement and in my opinion the strongest ability of any pioneer. She is incredibly flexible and part of many setups. Viktor and Mojag have high attack, low defense and 3 movement. They put a lot of pressure and can force enemies to retreat to safety. Their low defense isn’t a big problem because they can stay out of the range of many units while still making threats of their own. They can take out key defensive cards or threaten masters with 5 or less defense. Their low defense however means that they will very likely die. Rakva has low attack, high defense and 3 movement, making her the opposite of Viktor and Mojag. She alone can’t threaten a lot of units, but combined with 2 movement cards let’s you threaten units you couldn’t have threatened without her, and her high defense means she is difficult to kill and often survives after you attacked. Lorik has high attack, low defense and 3 range. His attack can reach up to 8; The only other 3 range pioneer with this much attack is Lapu with the Cosmic Whetstone equipment. His weak points are that he depends on the fellowship to have 4 defense and only has 1 movement. Lapu has high attack, low defense and 3 range like Lorik. His weak point is that he depends on the fellowship to have 4 defense. Both Lorik and Lapu offer a lot of board control and can threaten many different types of units, but are weak against Kapu, Vemaephir, Ygridd and the protector abilities. Vauk has medium attack, low defense and 3 range. He likes to be equipped with the Venoz Poison equipment to reach 7 attack. His weak point is that you cannot equip him with Venoz Poison if you play him in the starting 5. Xico has low attack, medium defense and 3 range. He requires Zeshru to be as mobile as Lapu or Vauk. He is weaker against non-pioneer cards than the other 3 range pioneers due to his lower attack, but thanks to his assassination ability excels at threatening even high defense pioneers. Most high defense pioneers have only 1 movement, so they are often put into the neutral zone to exert some pressure, but Xico pushes them back into the deployment zone. Ygridd has high attack, low defense, and resilience against ranged attacks. With up to 9 attack she has the highest attack of any 2 movement pioneer and threatens many masters or even heroes. With 2 range she is also a strong defender. Her weak point is that she gets threatened by pioneers, warriors and 3 movement units and you don’t necessarily want to trade her off for a pioneer without any benefit. Kishk has high attack, low defense and likes to be equipped with Luukus and even Drophir Poison, turning him into a very big threat. Ituha is similar to Kishk with two differences: She cannot receive any movement equipment, but she has a strong fellowship. Klirhari has high attack, medium defense and a strong fellowship. She gives Kalon 1 more defense and makes him safe from any 6 attack units. She herself has 6 attack, which is enough to threaten any unit with 5 or less defense. Ygridd, Kishk, Ituha and Klirhari are good in the starting 5, as they threaten a lot of damage, hindering your opponent’s advance. Strong tier: Bira has high attack, low defense and 3 movement. With Peewa as guardian she can deal 4 damage, the same as Rakva with the equipment, and with 2 range she can fulfill a similar role as ranged support like Ygridd or Kathara. Her weak point is her very low defense which means several warriors and 3 movement units can threaten her. Jesper has medium attack, low defense and 3 movement. He deals only 3 damage compared to Bira, but he has a nice fellowship and can offer ranged support. Jesper has 4 defense with Yvar, making him safe against most warriors. Fred has medium attack, high defense and can often safely advance to the neutral zone. With Fabyor and the Bow of Portheim equipped, he exerts strong board control with 4 attack and 3 range and reminds me a bit of Drakan. Maka has high attack, low defense and an ability that makes her a powerhouse in the late game. Her weak points is that it takes some time to activate her ability and like Ygridd or Bira gets threatened by warriors and 3 movement units. Lithana and Metallos go hand in hand. Lithana is in almost every way like Klirhari, except that Klirhari makes Kalon safe from 6 attack units. Metallos has medium attack, medium defense and can buff your melee cards like Kalon, Rezu or Exodus. Sherdet has medium attack, medium defense and a strong time pressure ability. He can be equipped with different items and is a flexible unit. He can pressure your opponent when time is low and pressures them psychologically. Because of their abilities, Metallos and Sherdet are stronger units than pioneers with the same stats. Szeshru has low attack, high defense and a strong fellowship. Giving Xico 2 movement enables you to adapt a lot better to your opponent. She can also be equipped with Ataxia Eggs, turning her into a a very strong pioneer. Because of her fellowship and the possibility to wear a strong equipment she is a stronger unit than pioneers with the same stats. Jask has low attack, medium defense but is a pioneer assassin like Xico. He is good at threatening every other pioneer, but his weak point is his low attack against non-pioneer units. Together with protectors like Fin he can also make 3 range pioneers retreat. Alchemia has low attack, low defense but has the same strong ability as Palaria, that is difficult to play around. If she is positioned properly, she can massively weaken your opponent’s units or force many to retreat out of danger of her ability. Cyrill, Zheka and Deletia have medium attack, medium defense and 2 range. All 3 can be equipped with an item that buffs their attack up to 7. With 7 attack they can fulfill similar roles to that of Kishk and Ituha, with 5 defense they are safe against units with 5 damage or less, and with 2 range they can offer high damage ranged support like Ygridd, Bira, Maka and Kathara. Even without the equipments they are strong and flexible units. Naira has low attack, high defense, 2 range, a strong fellowship and a bequest ability. With Peewa and the fellowship she has 6 attack and defense, making her safe from 6 attack units and excellent at ranged support. With the cosmic Whetstone equipped she has up to 7 attack, making her even better at ranged support and able to deal 4 damage in melee combat like 4 attack 6 defense pioneers. Her ability can buff marksmen like Kele or Lapu. Lakota has medium attack, low defense, a strong fellowship, and a strong ability. His fellowship makes Maza require 3 damage to be killed and as a result safer against warriors. Lakota offers excellent ranged support, and his ability lets him deal up to 12 damage to a single unit. This damage potential deters many units from taking trades close by. Jochen has low attack, high defense, 1 movement, a fellowship, and the strongest bequest ability. His ability isn’t tied to melee, hermeticists or marksmen like other bequests are. He can buff the defense of several strong units like Erik, Martin or Lorik, making them even stronger. His high defense means he can safely advance to the neutral zone and he can have up to 6 attack, which threatens a lot of pioneers. Maun has high attack, high defense, 1 movement and a strong fellowship. He is like Jochen but doesn’t have an ability. However, giving Lapu 2 more defense is crucial to keeping him save. Drax has low attack, high defense, 1 movement and a strong fellowship. He benefits from Arsok and is very hard to kill. He is the prime target for Vakron’s Sword, but more on that later. Okay tier: Syxur has high attack and low defense. His high attack lets him threaten many pioneers, masters and even heroes. Kihina has high attack, low defense and a strong ability. The ability let’s her deal up to 12 damage alone, which, like with Lakota, your opponent has to be careful about. Mingan has high attack, low defense and the same raider ability as Kaliik. He needs to kill 2 units to have the same stats as for example Lithana. Only rarely will his ability snowball and get out of hand. Syxur, Kihina and Mingan suffer the same problems as other 3 defense units. Atieno has medium attack, low defense and a strong ability. He can deal 10 damage to troops and is excellent at threatening commonly played 2-unit troops like Nisash, Aspos or Devaki. Ciarta has medium attack, low defense and a strong ability. Her ability can weaken key units like the enemy hero and weaken them tremendously. Atieno and Ciarta are weak against other pioneers as they only need 5 attack to threaten him and his 5 attack can’t easily threaten them back. Meenomi and Janis both have medium attack and medium defense. Meenomi is strong with Panu, giving him 6 defense and making him safe against 6 attack units. Janis is a flexible unit that benefits from Nordur’s various bequest abilities. However, he has no ability of his own and unlike Cyrill only 1 range. Hinto, Draska, Bjrn and Kelan have low attack and high defense. All 4 are safe against 6 damage units, Hinto is even safe from 7 damage units. Draska has the immunity ability, making her very strong against Arachnid’s various impairment and after death abilities. Bjrn benefits from bequest abilities like Janis. Kelan has only 3 attack, but has a strong ability and 2 range. He likes to be equipped with the Orca Stone, giving him 5 attack. With his help you can push into 3 range units and force them to retreat or get traded. Isaresh has low attack, medium defense, and an impairment ability. Her ability threatens to weaken key enemy units that come too close. For example, she can reduce Rezu’s attack from 6 to just 4 which can make a big difference. Gustav has high attack, high defense, and a dash ability. He benefits from Fabyor and if you equip him with the Shoes of the Shieldbrothers he is a powerhouse like Kalon but lacks 1 or 2 attack. Kraxeb has high attack, low defense, 1 movement and a strong ability. He is an excellent card at defending and offering ranged support. His ability deals damage to multiple units and dissuades your opponent from getting too close. However, with only 4 defense he is threatened by many pioneers. Ador and Soratros have high attack, medium defense, a strong AoE ability and 1 movement. Both benefit from Fabyor and Arsok respectively, and both can turn into powerhouses with the help of equipments. With the Grey Bear Armor and the Shoes of the Shieldbrothers, Ador can be a 9 attack, 7 defense, 2 movement unit like the masters Yvar or Juuk and has the same ability as Erik. Kraxeb, Ador and Soratros can deal massive amount of damage and are strong at striking back after your opponent attacked you. For example, they all prevent high movement Tagari from overwhelming you because they can deal so much damage back, killing many units in the process. Knut has high attack, low defense, benefits from Fabyor and the same ability as Martin. His high attack means most units will die when they attack him in melee combat, so like the 3 units before, it is difficult to overwhelm you because whatever attacks Knut will die in the process. However, with only 4 defense he is threatened by many pioneers and is weak to 3 range units. Brux has medium attack, high defense, 1 movement, a fellowship, and a protector ability. He benefits from Arsok and can become a unit like Jochen or Maun. His high defense and ability lets you safely push into 3 range units and, unlike Kelan, he himself will be safe from Lorik, Lapu and Vauk. Niche tier: Konrad and Paros have medium attack, low defense, and a time pressure ability. Karuk has medium attack and medium defense and benefits from Peewa. Kathara and Carnok have high attack and low defense. Valash has medium attack, low defense, and a strong ability. Her ability lets you weaken key enemy cards. Karuk, Kathara, Carnok and Valash offer nice, ranged support. Besides Karuk, they all suffer from the same problems as other units with only 4 defense and, besides Valash, don’t have strong abilities. Karuk is the strongest out of these, but still gets outshined by all other ranged Tagari pioneers. Faskor has low attack, high defense, 1 movement, benefits from Arsok and has a strong bequest ability. He can buff the attack of melee units. He gets outshined by the other 1 movement Naphas pioneers. Weak tier: Vanax is the weakest pioneer out of all. He has low attack, high defense, and an ability. He benefits from Arsok. He needs to be equipped with Rothadyn’s Tooth to be on a similar power to Fred without an equipment. Your deck slot and your equipment are better served without him. Staple tier: Fin has low attack, high defense and out of all warriors, Fin’s ability is the strongest. Protecting the hexes in front is the strongest type of protector ability, and easily lets you push units into the neutral zone safe from any ranged attacks. Fin is mobile and at 4 health he is difficult to kill by other warriors. Jupo has medium attack, low defense but a very strong ability. The ability is the same as Alnarasz, but on a ranged warrior. He deals 3 damage to the target and 2 damage to every unit around it, oftentimes dealing a massive amount of damage. Jathazi, Viho, Exodus and Agatha all have medium to high attack, low defense and 3 movement. Jathazi has 1 more attack and a time pressure ability. He alone threatens various 3 health pioneers and even Kele. Viho and Agatha are both troops whose defense can be buffed to 2 through a fellowship. Even though Agatha requires Qessa to reach 3 attack, Arachnids lack 3 movement units which makes Agatha a staple card. Exodus is similar; he has a strong ability that can weaken key enemy units like the enemy hero and can be equipped with Haikkul or Chirid Chaancha. Sisash, Elmar, Litaha and Toxica have low attack, low defense and 3 range. Guardians can buff the health of Sisash or the attack of Elmar and Litaha to 3. Litaha is the only 3 range warrior with 2 movement, but has a troop size of only 3. Toxica has no troop strength, but a strong impairment ability. Unlike cards with the impairment ability that works in melee range, because she can attack from a save distance you can repeatedly make use of Toxica’s ability. Frallga and Liv have high damage, low health and strong abilities. They are the strongest high-damage warriors because they can deal up to 7 damage with Helga, which threatens pioneers and even masters. They alone can force your opponent to retreat their units to safety. Fyora, Ekano and Pillan have high attack, low defense and strong abilities. Fyora can reach up to 5 attack and her ability lets you kill a unit and return to safety. Ekano and Pillan can deal 8 damage to troops and isolated targets respectively. Being able to threaten 8 damage as a warrior makes them very strong and scary to face. Aspos has low attack, high defense and is the strongest 2-unit troop if you are using Qessa. He shines in the starting 5 and as a troop becomes a 6 attack 8 defense pioneer. The troop has higher stats than any pioneer and resembles master-level stats. 6 attack threatens many pioneers and is hard to kill with 8 defense. Strong tier: Maza, Juvo, Runa, Sapata, Maaro, Latika and Lika all have low attack, low defense and 3 movement. Maza, Juvo and Runa have 2 range and can give ranged support. Maza can reach 4 attack and 2 defense thanks to Peewa and Lakota, making him the strongest of the 3. Juvo requires a fellowship and Runa requires Helga to reach 3 attack, which lets them deal 2 damage instead of just 1 in melee combat. Sapata is melee troop, he can’t offer ranged support but as a troop of 3 becomes a 6/6 master like Lasthos. Maaro has medium defense and benefits greatly from Allmann’s Potion equipment and Yvar’s and Paul’s bequest ability. He gives you a bit more time at the beginning. Latika also benefits from the White Oak Acorns and the Wuru Skull Gloves equipments and his ability can buff your melee units. Lika benefits from the Ataxia Eggs equipment and her strong ability can massively weaken your opponent’s units or force many to retreat out of danger of her ability. Maaro, Latika and Lika can become 4 attack 3 movement warriors like Jathazi and threaten 3 defense pioneers and Kele. Jiro, Manestia and Srasnis have high attack and low defense. Jiro with the help of his fellowship and Manestia with her ability can deal 6 damage, which threatens pioneers and even some masters. Srasnis can reach 5 attack thanks to Qessa, but even with 4 attack is a very strong warrior troop. As a troop of 2 he has 10 or 8 attack and 4 defense, making him able to threaten pioneers and many masters. Devaki and Nisash have medium attack, medium defense. Thanks to their fellowships, as a troop of 2 they have 8 attack and 6 defense, they have higher stats than every other pioneer and can threaten pioneers and many masters. With 6 defense they are also safe from 6 attack units. Eeb has low attack, high defense and benefits from Panu. As a troop of 2 he has 4 attack and 8 or 10 defense, higher stats than every other pioneer. Xula, Waban, Diagrus and Lelro all have high attack and low defense. Thanks to Qessa Xula and Lelro can reach 4 attack like the other units mentioned. Xula can have 2 defense and is like Srasnis, but also offers ranged support. Waban and Lelro can have up to 12 attack on a single hex which, if unanswered, threatens masters and heroes, but as a troop are very vulnerable to any 3 movement units. Diagrus doesn’t have troop strength, but can put your opponent under time pressure. Maska and Noya have medium attack and low defense and benefit from Panu. As a troop of 2 they become a 6 attack 6 defense pioneer, which is stronger than most pioneers, and as a troop of 3 Maska becomes a 9 attack 9 defense master, stronger than most 2 movement masters. A troop of 2 Noya are like Cyrill, Zheka or Deletia with 1 more attack and defense. Qakrax and Emporiana have medium attack, low defense and strong abilities that are difficult to play around. If positioned properly, they can massively weaken your opponent’s units or force many to retreat out of danger of their abilities. Paul has low attack, medium defense and a strong ability. He can buff melee units like Erik, Jochen, Fyora and Maaro, making them even stronger. Rikven has high attack, low defense, a strong fellowship, and a dash ability. The fellowship buffs the defense of Kalon and Klirhari by 1, making them safe from 6 and 5 attack units respectively. Okay tier: Quilahu, Juna, Mina and Tiva have high attack, low defense and 2 range. They can reach 5 attack through different means, which lets them deal 3 damage in melee combat. Mina and Tiva have strong multistrike abilities whereas Quilahu and Juna have strong fellowships. A troop of 2 Quilahu has 10 attack, 4 defense and if you can split them up let’s you deal 6 damage in melee combat to a single target. They all offer strong ranged support. Vicket has medium attack, medium defense and an ability that gives you more time the longer the game goes. Chirid has low attack, low defense but can reach 3 attack thanks to Qessa. Like Maska, a troop of Chirid buffed by Qessa scale well and can become 5 unit troop with 15 attack and 10 defense, similar stats to that of a hero. Gantur has medium attack, low defense and is in many regards like Waban or Lelro. 3 attack let’s you threaten warriors with 2 defense which are quite common, and as a troop of 2 with 6 attack can threaten pioneers. Vaakria and Rikkiviq have low attack, medium defense and scale well as troops. Rikkiviq needs Qessa to reach 2 attack, but unlike Vaakria can become a troop of 4 instead of 3. As a troop of 2 becomes a pioneer with 4 attack and 6 defense, which is in-line with other pioneers. A troop of 3 becomes a master with 6 attack and 9 defense, which is in-line with other masters. A troop of 4 Rikkiviq has 8 attack and 12 defense, which is comparable to an 8 attack 12 defense Martin (with 2 equipments and Fabyor). Yepa, Inola and Aegir have medium attack, can reach medium defense through fellowships and have 2 range. A troop of 2 Yepa or Inola with Peewa become a pioneer with 8 attack and 6 defense, higher stats than any other marksman pioneer and reminds me a bit of Zivishra. A troop of 2 Aegir becomes a pioneer with 6 attack and 6 defense, like Naira with fellowship and Peewa. A troop of 3 Yepa or Aegir becomes a master with 9 or 12 attack and 9 defense, which offers excellent ranged support and is very difficult to kill. Akas, Arulli, Henk, Kinama and Harivald have low attack and low defense. Akas and Arulli benefit from Qessa and together with Harivald have 2 range. A troop of Akas offers strong ranged support but has very low defense. A troop of 2 Arulli with Qessa becomes a marksman pioneer with 6 attack and 4 defense, like Carnok. Kinama and Harivald can buff hermeticists like Volgar, Ygridd or Tapeesa. Ulf has high attack, medium defense, 1 movement, a strong fellowship, and benefits from Fabyor. With 5 attack he can threaten many warriors or even pioneers and with 4 defense not many warriors can kill him. A troop of 2 Ulf becomes a pioneer with 10 attack and 8 defense, stronger than any other 1 movement pioneer. A troop of 3 or 4 Ulf becomes a master with 15 attack and 12 defense or even 20 attack and 16 defense. Ulf is the strongest of the 1 movement melee warriors. Jonaas has medium attack, low defense, 1 movement, a strong fellowship and time pressure ability. The longer the game goes, the more time he takes from your opponent. He gives Jochen 5 or even 6 attack and has 4 or 5 attack himself thanks to Fabyor. With 2 range he offers strong ranged support. Ulfrik has high attack, low defense, 1 movement and 2 range. He offers strong ranged support and Fabyor buffs him to 6 attack. If positioned correctly, he threatens to deal a lot of damage and will be able to protect your other units. Zazix has low attack, high defense and a strong ability. He can’t kill units himself but has 2 movement and the same strong ability as Qakrax. She is ideal to disable ranged attacks because they must kill her first. In doing so, the attack value of the unit she was next to, for example Lorik, gets decreased by 3. Irash has low attack, high defense, 1 movement and a strong ability. She can slowly advance and threaten to paralyze pioneers or even masters Niche tier: Brunnhilde has high attack, high defense, 1 movement and is the only unit that benefits from both Fabyor and Helga. Given that Ulf is like Brunnhilde but stronger thanks to his fellowship and troop size, Brunnhilde shines mostly in Helga decks. A troop of 2 becomes a pioneer with 10 attack, 8 defense and 1 movement and is stronger than other 1 movement pioneers. Krehash has medium attack, low defense, and a troop slayer ability. He is like Mina or Tiva but deals a lot less damage in ranged and in melee combat. Sipash has medium attack, medium defense, 1 movement and 2 range. He benefits from Arsok, and 2 units become a pioneer with 6 attack and 8 defense. He can fulfill a similar role to Fred by advancing towards the neutral zone and exerting control. Munin and Jorah have medium attack, medium defense, 1 movement and Munin the same ability as Vicket. They benefits from Fabyor and with 2 range offers ranged support. 2 Jorah become a pioneer with 8 attack and 6 defense. He can fulfill a similar role to Kathara, is more difficult to kill but has only 1 movement. Natrash has medium attack and low defense and Rhuz has low attack and medium defense. Both have 1 movement, 2 range and benefit from Arsok. Natrash has a strong fellowship and can reach up to 4 defense. A 3 attack 4 defense Natrash troop is like Sipash, but only deals 2 damage in melee combat. A 2 attack 4 defense Rhuz troop is like Natrash, but only deals 1 damage in melee combat. They both can become high defense 1 movement troops that are hard to kill and offer ranged support. Vaux has medium attack, high defense, 1 movement, a strong fellowship, and immunity. He can have up to 7 defense, the highest of any single warrior. 7 defense requires 8 or more damage to kill, which is a lot to take out only a warrior. Due to this he is often left alive and ideally deals 3 damage repeatedly. Crekso and Druskur and Lanchur have low attack, high defense and 1 movement. They benefit from Arsok or Qessa and are units like Vaux but with troop strength. 2 Crekso become a pioneer with 4 attack and 12 defense, like Drax with 4 attack and 11 defense. 3 Crekso become a master with 6 attack and 18 defense, the highest defense any unit worth 3 morale can have. That master is like Rezu with 6 attack and 15 defense but has only 1 movement. It still takes a lot of attack power to be able to kill them. Druskur and Lanchur are like Crekso, they have 1 less defense but 1 more troop strength. 4 Druskur or Lanchur become a troop with 8 attack and 20 defense, 2 attack and 2 defense more than 3 Crekso. With Arsok and Qessa, Szakee, Gruuz and Edgar have the same medium attack, high defense and 1 movement. Szakee has the highest troop strength of 5, then Gruuz with 4, then Edgar with 3. 2 units become a pioneer with 6 attack and 8 defense, like Maun or Jochen but with 1 less defense. 3 units become a master with 9 attack and 12 defense. That master is like Riuk with 9 attack and 13 defense, but has only 1 movement. Gruuz or Szakee with 4 units become a troop with 12 attack, 16 defense. Szakee with 5 units become a troop with 15 attack and 20 defense, a bit like a troop of 4 Druskur or Lanchur with 9 attack and 20 defense. Weak tier: Mats has low attack, low defense, 2 movement and is the weakest warrior in the game. Every other warrior does things better than him. Other warriors deal more damage in ranged combat, in melee combat, scale better as a troop or have more defense than him. There is no guardian that can buff his attack to 3 so he will at least deal 2 damage in melee combat instead of just 1. The only strongpoint of Mats is that as a troop of 4, he has 8 attack and 8 defense, like Zivishra with the Bio Armor equipment and could fulfill a similar role as a ranged support that is hard to kill. As a troop of 4, he is also a similar unit to Hinto; both Hinto and 4 Mats deal 4 damage in melee combat and have 8 defense, Hinto also deals 4 damage in melee combat and has 7 defense. Staple tier: Luukus and the Shoes of the Shieldbrothers give +1 movement to a melee unit. You can turn 2 movement melee units into strong 3 movement melee units or turn slow 1 movement melee units into strong 2 movement melee units. Juuk, Thea and Yvar become high attack 3 movement units, Kishk becomes a 7 attack 3 movement unit, Gustav becomes like Kalon and Jochen becomes like Frusia. Haikkul can give Lasthos or Exodus +2 attack and can give Frusia or Palaria 9 attack. Dado’s Armor gives any melee unit +2 defense which is a staple because most units have strong abilities (like Wapok or Kaliik) and benefit greatly from having more defense or makes already high defense units like Hinto or Kapu even harder to kill. Strong tier: Venoz Poison can give Drakan or Vauk +2 attack and increases the board control they exert with 3 range or can give June 10 attack. The Bow of Portheim can give Rudolf 7 attack and 3 range and with Fabyor can give Fred 4 attack and 3 range, with 7 defense and 1 movement Fred will be like Drakan. White Oak Acorns can give 3 movement units like Latika 2 more attack or can turn low attack high defense units like Hinto into high attack high defense units. The Orca Stone, Ataxia Eggs and World Divider give +2 attack to ranged units like Cyrill, Zheka, Deletia, or hermeticist masters like Volgar and Lasthella. Ataxia Eggs can also turn Lika into a 4 attack 3 movement unit with a strong ability. The Grey Bear Armor together with the Shoes of the Shieldbearers can turn 1 movement melee units into very strong 2 movement units. You can have an 8 attack, 12 defense, 2 movement Martin that is one of the strongest masters in the game or a 9 attack, 8 defense, 2 movement Ador that is like a strong master. Palahu’s Shrine gives a hermeticist +2 defense. The item gives you access to an 11 defense Mahno or a 9 defense Micco. Okay tier: Drophir Poison, Allmann’s Potion, Wuru Skull Gloves and Chirid Chaancha give +1 attack to melee units. These items are very flexible and can enable units to make threats that would otherwise not be possible, or can make your 3 movement units like Maaro or Rakva stronger. Cosmic Whetstone can give Kele up to 10 attack, Lapu up to 8 attack, or can give Naira and Lakota up to 7 attack. Kele becomes a stronger 3 movement unit, Lapu becomes a stronger 3 range unit and Naira and Lakota deal a lot of damage in range and will deal 4 damage in melee combat instead of 3 without the Cosmic Whetstone. Vakron’s Sword is a strong niche card for 1 movement melee units. Together with Luukus, Vaakron’s Sword can turn Drax into a 7 attack, 11 defense, 2 movement unit, Faskor into a 7 attack, 10 defense, 2 movement unit, or turn Brux into a 8 attack, 9 defense, 2 movement unit. Drax and Faskor are like Palaria with more defense, and Brux is like Frusia with +1 attack. I think the item shines if you use it together with Luukus the same way you use the Grey Bear Armor and the Shoes of the Shieldbrothers on Martin. One alternative use is to equip Rakva with Vakron’s Sword and Luukus to turn her into a 6 attack, 6 defense, 3 movement unit like Lasthos. Rothadyn’s Tooth can give your many hermeticists like Vemaephir, Blancara or Brix +2 attack and increase their offensive potential. Frusos’ Helmet Can negate the -1 defense of Haikkul and is a very flexible item. Arachnids have many melee units and you can enable them to survive against cards that would normally threaten them. Niche tier: Aazrin’s Essence is like Frusos’ Helmet, but due to the nature of Naphas units and compared to other Naphas items weaker. The Bloodstone Amulet gives a hermeticists like Mahno or Meenomi +1 attack but is weaker compared to other Tagari items. Hrulf’s Heritage gives +1 defense to hermeticists like Volgar, Cyrill or Ygridd, but is weaker compared to other Nordur items. Bio Armor gives +1 defense to marksmen like Zivishra, Xico or Deletia, but is weaker compared to other Arachnids items. Thanks everyone for making it this far! This took a lot of time but was very enjoyable for me to write and share with you, the reader. I hope this article was fun and informative. With that I will leave you the compiled tier lists. Until next time! Race specific tier lists of Naphas, Nordur, Tagari and Arachnids:Like
